Boat Transport
Has anyone used a company recently to transport a boat from the East coast?
Looking to get a boat from Brisbane to Perth
Boat is on a trailer
Beam 2.7
Height on trailer 3.5m
Weight 4T
Overall length on trailer 11m
Ive looked into sea freight but most carriers don't have any ships coming from Brisbane to Perth till October

being overwidth, is going to
being overwidth, is going to be expensive by road.
While in WA you can travel at night up to 2.7 I dont believe this is the case in any of the other states theyd go thru which means daylight only.
Just my guess but I reckon ship is likely to be your best option unless you jag someone doing an overwidth with space to spare
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

I used NMT shipping, by sea
I used NMT shipping, by sea from Melb to Perth last year. Good overall experience. Have you investigated their options?
Whatever you do make sure it's real clean, otherwise WA quarantine will bend you over. Get plenty of photos before it leaves for evidence as well.

Sunco Logistics
I've recently brought a boat of a similar size round from Melbourne to Fremantle with Sunco Logistics who were very good. Darren Cohen is the contact, he may be able to get it on a boat quicker than you're currently being advised.
