Boat importing risks!

I had 2 options whether to have my latest boat leave Baltmore or Savanahh port. Unfortunately I chose Baltimore and my boat is in a yard in Middle River MD. It seems wherever I park boats in the states they seem to attract hurricanes! I had 2 boats at Marine point in Charlotte when Hurricane Irene hit last and thankfully they were not damaged.

Now I'm back in the same boat (excuse the pun). Frankenstorm is being forecasted to track right through Baltimore and I am unsure of the insurance options I have to cover the boat! It sure is scary leaving the fate Of your boat to someone on the other side of the world. Just another risk for those looking to import a boat to consider! Fingers crossed its not damaged!

Managed to get the Grady inside and it held out the storm without so much as a drop of water or gust of wind on her, thank god! The amount of damage in the area I am very lucky!
