boat rebuild

Finally decided to give my boat a birthday and a bit of a rebuild . I have so far cut the floor out and removed the foam from under the flooor and now the boat is in the  boat builders in busselton where i am removing all fittings and hand rails .plan is to move some of the stringers around and put a large kill tank in floor new fold down seating in back and respray plus extras .will keep post up to date as work progressesi

old frames have been taken out and the inside of hull has now been re glassed ,new frames installed and ready to be glassed over now.Next will be to put floor and hatches back in then cut out anchor well fro anchor winch to be installed .

Finally got back to work on the boat after being away for a couple of weeks at work .floor has now been fitted back in with hatches, and side pockets replaced , now all ready to be fiberglasses. Currently putting anchor well in the front to fit drum winch

..boat starting to come along now .got it back from apholsters and new bimini clears a v birth cushions .thanks to Pedro for recomending me someone.just a few bits and pieces to bolt on now and be back on the water.lookingg fwd to it as boat has been out of water now for around 5 months

For giving it a crack, hopefully she comes out sweet at the end of it all.

btw, nice looking 100 series cruiser. Not looking to move that on to fund some extra boat goodies are you? Been looking for a descent 100 series turbo diesel for some time now.

Thats not a factory turbo though is it, unless a conversion has been done?
Its a 105 with factory HDJ decal on it.

Just curious as Im not far off doing that conversion.

Nice rebuild.  The stringers look similiar to my Huntress.  Have they or will you be glassing them?

Awesome!

The extra effort will ensure your boat will last.   I was quite surprised when I pulled off the floor of my boat.  Stringers were in great condition!

Old hulls don't have the "glamour" of new boats but they're built like tanks!
