boat trailer to suit ocean whaler

 Hi, am looking for a suitable boat trailer to suit my ocean whaler. the one that i have is not suited to my boat. Vic Barrett

 Vic, unfortunately I don’t think you will find one off the shelf that is a perfect fit, ocean whaler from new put them on a dunbier trailer but they are far from a perfect fit and I think the only way you will get a good trailer for it is to have one made as holth suggests. I have an ocean whaler and have put bunks on the trailer (dunbier) and it is an improvement but still not perfect ! I saw on gumtree the other day a western whaler that was for sale and the trailer had been modified with 3 wheels down both sides similar to what you see on some cat trailers and it looked the goods.

Surely you can't go wrong if you modify to install bunks and rear/side guides similar to the below?
