Braid purchase

I'm keen to respool one of my reels with Daiwa saltiga boat braid. I want to go with PE4 but I'd go with PE5 if anyone wants to share. I reckon I'll need about 400-450 of the PE4 or about 300-350 of the PE5.

You have to buy it in 1800m spools and I don't need that much.

I can get it arrived in Perth for $300. Anybody keen to go halves or thirds? I have a line counter so can coind of my third or half...

I can't seem to find out what the difference is between J Braid and boat braid but the boat braid comes highly recommended.

Are you using the J Braid?

 Boat braid is a little

Boat braid is a little thicker and not as slick,as by the length for filling up big overheads.

Lately . Whiplash pro getting harder to get. Pretty impressed with it. Doesn't seem to fray as easy as some braids. Time will tell. Had some on my main reel for 7 months. Still going well

 Decided to go with Jbraid.

Decided to go with Jbraid. Hillarys tackle shop had it for $78 and spooled my reel for me. Got 450m of 50 Lb on my LD40H... Looks like I've got just enought room on the spool to fit my wind on leader too... Happy days!

Thanks for the tips lads!
