Bread and Butter

Hey guys,
Went for a fish with my mate Paul yesterday and got a descent feed. Until yesterday, I had only caught 2 or 3 bream on lure, none of which had been very big. But yesterday I caught 3 in the one session on my favourite little sx40. The biggest one being 31cm which wasnt a bad one. Not huge compared to the ones they get down south but I was pretty happy with this fella. My mate paul got a nice flatty that measured 66cm as well. He got a little fella 45cm as well.
I went for another fish today down my fav little beach and got another nice bream, new PB at 32cm. Caught 4 whiting, 2 of which were 30cm and the tiniest little flatty I had ever caught.
All caught on the SX40. Bloody love that lure.

I've only seen them that big when i did a dive on the swan off dunsborough(sanctuary zone)

Yeh it was a good couple of days, better than being at work thats for sure. Yeh that 66cm is a beaut and Dan, a 45cm up here in North Qld is just a pup, well not as much a pup is that little one in that last pic. He would be under 30cm

Flathead, sooooooooooo
Flathead, sooooooooooo YUM!!!!!!!!!! 45cm in W.A is half decent...Nice whiting to....The tail on the little flathead is cool! Smallest Flathead i ever got got just under 3 inches.....mistake was thinking he was so innocent and resting him in the palm of my had, he then swung his head into my thumb....i wont forget that pain any time soon!!!!!
I love fishing. It`s escaping reality for a few hours for me!

Hey Glenn - Seriously no matter how careful you are with flatty handling, they always find a way to sink those 2 gill spikes into yur hand somewhere hey. I concur. Been gashed that many times its not funny haha.
