just out of curiosity, just going through a book i have and came across the B/A,it tells me the max length of these is 55 cm.
has anyone caught one longer than that as Nathan(my son) has gone close and i saw a post that someone got one over 60 cm
the record that is shown in the book says Australian record 3kg length 56cm
but to my surprise its only 3 star eating, best being 4 star

I think the record is
I think the record is heaviest fish, so they can get longer, but the longer ones that have been weighed and certified came at less than the plump 56cm one.

cant say i eat the things myself ... prefer a small pinky anyday of the week - which is good for me as some of my regular crew love em and are happy to trade a pinky for one :)

LOL Russ!
Don't I know it when I wade in the water to clip the boat on the trailer rope![Yell Yell](/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif)
I'll just have to hood a 75cm one - it'll be 65cm by the time it gets to the surface
