breaksea cod

just out of curiosity, just going through a book i have and came across the B/A,it tells me the max length of these is 55 cm.

has anyone caught one longer than that as Nathan(my son) has gone close and i saw a post that someone got one over 60 cm

the record that is shown in the book says Australian record 3kg length 56cm

but to my surprise its only 3 star eating, best being 4 star

I think the record is heaviest fish, so they can get longer, but the longer ones that have been weighed and certified came at less than the plump 56cm one.

Don't I know it when I wade in the water to clip the boat on the trailer rope YellSurprised

I'll just have to hood a 75cm one - it'll be 65cm by the time it gets to the surface Tongue out
