breaming off a jetty

to try catch bream on a little ecogear sx40 hardy body

all the shows ive ever watched have been of people casting at a jetty..then realing out towards their boat

how to fish it if i am not in a boat, just on the jetty?

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Yeh as above things like vibes because the sx40 like to be on the bottom which is hard from a jetty but good from the sand.

You're going to struggle

You're going to struggle getting an SX40 down 2m, but agree with the lures stated above, particularly a vibe as there are a few blowies down there.

But yes i agree with standing on the shore or towards the start of the jetty as you want the lure down deep going past the structure.

or my favourite method: mussels. on a non-glassy day you cant beat a small whole mussel droppedright next to a peice of structure.
