Hey up at Broome till the 20th May 2011 looking for some good spots for salmon and queenies .
Tackle shops not to help full same old mums the word reply
I have a 4wd a couple of 3metre rods plus small spinning gear
heaps of lures and poppers.
any other spots to try for big stuff .
also what is a top bait for the salmon

If your talking threadfin salmon
then live popeyed mullet are the best in my opinion, atleat they where when i lived up there 6 years ago. Crab creek was a good spot for threadies and you can get there with a 4WD. Or a drive up to Minarri in 4WD was good fishing up there, either off the reef at lowist tide or from the beach itself.

head up the road to cape
head up the road to cape leveque and try quandong point. its about an hour trip from broome, the track in is pretty good. fish the rocky point for big blue bone. Also try barred creek which is closer to broome
