broome sharks

I was in Broome and we hired a plate boat and cruized out near dangerous reef.I dropped a paternoster and had good hits and was bitten clean of by sharks 3 times in a row.We moved on.Even trolled Mackeral were taken a few seconds after hook up.I saw the sharks.Lots of whalers around 5-6 foot.I would have prefered to go up Dampier creek for threadfin and stuff however my son ended up paying over $600 for the day so if he wishes to go bluewater its his call.Next time maybe

I went on a charter last
I went on a charter last July and we fished Roebuck Bay and some of the creeks and caught a heap of small bull sharks. Had to keep moving to get away from them. Didn't matter where we went they eventually turned up. Managed a big threadie and some blue salmon amongst them.
