Brownlow (possible spoiler)

Anyone watching the Brownlow live on Fox (not sure if its live on Channel 7)?

Gonna be a real interesting finish with only a few rounds to go.

Just checked, delayed telecast on channel 7.

Won't spoil it but its a nerve wracking finish. Congrats to the winner, thoroughly deserved.

yes worthy winner

Matt Pridis worthy winner , but the afl need to over haul the whole system , how come pridda didn't make the all Australian team ? he should have been a shoe in, the other thing is I didn't think Pridda had a 2 vote game in round 23 maybe a 1 vote game funny how he got 2 votes which saved the AFL from the embarrassment of a ineligible player (fyfe) poling the most votes

Something to cheer about for Weegurls, I always dread watching a nervous person get up for a speech (dread it myself) but Pridda did it well, good on im

Come as a surprise but well done Mr Priddis .. clean player, consistent games with high disposals and tackles and actually comes across as a decent bloke

Lol. Where did that come from? But since you brought it up... I'm a Sydney supporter and expected Fyfe to lead the tally. Absolute stand-out this year IMO.

Fyfe would of won had he not been suspended for 4 weeks and thats comming from a WC supporter!...the brownlow rules are pretty straight forward and every one knows them from round 1.....

dont know where the comment above comes from...no docker supporters are being soar on here?

Probably referring to the whingers on facebook that have clogged up my feed. But I just turn a blind eye to that rubbish. Fyfe's first suspension was a terrible decision by the MRP but the second was fair. And rules are rules.

Well done to Priddis. Good to see a true workhorse have a win. Finally gave me something to cheer about after a pretty average season by the Eagles

As off about the middle of last week, Priddis was my pick for the Charlie. But my money will be on Fyfe next year if he can stay fit and stay out of trouble. But gee, it's still a mid fielders medal.

Tue, 2014-09-23 12:21

I agree with Tadpole. There were plenty of Dockers sooks complaining about Pridda winning on my facebook which resulted in a suitable status update.

I cant help but think that Fyfe could have felt robbed if he hadn't been rubbed out for the second time.

I am an eagles supporter and will support the dockers when they are not playing the eagles, though some of the supporters really make me want to hate the dockers. I am sure it is the same on the other side of the river.

Regardless, it is great for local footy to have Eagles and Dockers up the top. Just need the ladder to reflect this way at the end of the season.

 Worst winner for a while.

Tue, 2014-09-23 17:17

Worst winner for a while. 52% efficiency means that of the 28 times he hets in agame he gives it to the opposition 13. Hardly the best and that is why 17 AFL teams do not tag him...they go for Shuey who is an elite user of the ball not a butcher.

Then, to top it off, Nisbett from the Eagles, states that he is as good a player as Judd and Cousins. Really?    REALLY?

Respect the bloke and the way he plays but certainly not a quality winner...up ther with Brad Hardie, Brian Wilson and Woewodin.

I like Matt Priddis

Tue, 2014-09-23 19:30

Always hard at the ball even when WC were down he still puts in.

If the rest of his team mates [ Sheuy Gaff ect ] showed his tenacity at the ball they would be a far better team.

He is every bit as good as the games leading free kick casing ducker Joel Sellwood who was favorite to win.
