I heard that the proposal for the marine park for the Archipealago includes a total lock out of rec and commercial fishing.
Can anyone with more knowledge verify what is actually proposed. Its difficult to get un spun info.
If it is the case it is a massive step backward .

Suprisingly hasen't been much about it up here in Broome , might be different in Derby though. Indigenous groups have had a lot of imput so can't see anyone else that opposes it getting a say....

I find the timing
I find the timing interesting with the opening of cape Levique road.
Opening up access to that area for tourism would of been all over the funding for the road sealing and not near as attractive if they announced they wanted to close it all off again.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

A lot of closed areas at the communities when you have a good look at the map. Mixed veiws with sealing the road, some want the tourism a lot of others don't. No doubt the government will throw truckloads at the tourism side.

More restrictions
More of the same. Cant fish or hunt in your own country. I fear for my grand kids. Will be nothing left for them to enjoy.
