Bunbury Fishing Spots
Submitted by robduca on Mon, 2011-04-11 12:55
Hey Guys,
Im just getting back into fishing now that work doesnt chew up all my time. Just wondering if anyone can give me a couple of spots to fish round the bunno area. I got a 4x4 but no boat so just land based (unless you are offering a spot on your boat :) )
I wouldn't mind trying for a mulloway. What is the best bait/setup for them?
Cheers

Rob , Try the beach north of Bunbury accessed by road by heading up to the top end of the estuary then turning west toward the beach. Good spot to wet a line for Mulloway and Tailor.

Belvedere
Head north to Buffalo beach and along the beach for about 6 km until you find the reef.
Plenty of holes etc along the beach worth fishing
Good for taylor and mulloway

Never had much luck in
Never had much luck in Bunbury itself. Dalyellup has some good reef systems and good test for the 4by. Otherwise drive a hour and fish the cape.
