Haha Matt I fished it almost every night in May wasn't massive numbers caught not like it was last year far from it. The most I heard of in a night in May was 6 or 7 and I hear most of what goes on with the jetty coz I live out there. Pinks went o.k though but far more were caught at the other spot that I wont say on here even though it is the worst kept secret in Busso.
Yeah the sand seems to be the way to go this year, been very poor off the jetty, only 2 have been landed in the past week on the decks. I hear you about the busso "secret spot" im not willing to go there since it is like a nylon net, I can just imagine a hook up that runs across everyones lines. I heard of guys who w8 in the carpark for a spot to open up, crazyness.

LOL
at wonnaroo beach!!! Assume you meant Wonnerup?
To answer your question you must have been hiding under a rock to have missed the massive run of Mulloway and Pinkies Busselton had throughout May.
There were a few nights where over 20 Mulloway hit the decks of the jetty along with some BIG Pinkies.
Usual seasonal winter fishing.

Righto
been fed some incorrect info then. Not that worried though coz I can stand the crowds at the jetty let alone the un-named 'secret' boat ramp.
Plenty of great fish have been landed from the sand along Geo bay this season which has been great and a surprise to many.
