About 18 months ago I was lucky enough to get a spot out fishing with Buz, since then he has taken me out a few times and never disappointed.. I've kept in touch with him, an he's always happy to give advise,and a friendly chat, and a regular contributes on this forum ... I also met his beautiful fiancé Anna...
Buz and Anna get married on Saturday, and I just wanted to wish them both the best for a long and happy future together, and all the best for Saturday

Hahaha cheers Bod. Bucks do ended up pretty tame starting with Super Golf, followed by Hogs Breath Cafe, then Karaoke, what a laugh that is!, then onto the traditional exotic venues. Great night overall and glad it will only happen once :-P

I remember your land based Dhue along with the great Taylor you both caught!, you both share a great passion for fishing and the out doors so it must be a good thing to tie the knot!

I remember that trip quite well. Will never forget the D.Cometti story for as long as I live.
I second the sentiments Ric, great couple, so much so that my 4yo still remembers Buz even though we only met once 18 months ago. All the best guys.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and well wishes.
I didnt actually see this thread until after my wedding ooops :-O
We got married and had our reception at Wise Winery down at Eagle Bay on Saturday and it went perfect. Even the weather held off for one day so that it was bright sunny skies with a not a too high temp and a slight breeze to keep us cool in our suits. Sunday it rainned and it was dark and gloomy skies right when the ceremony and photos would have been being conducted!
Bit of a funny story on the day. We had some of our photos taken down at Bunker Bay(will post one up when we get the professional shots). One of the things the photographer had previously told us was good to do was to have some 'props' down with us that suit who we are. So of course i take a fishing rod down with me :)
And not wanting to look fake and just posing with an unrigged rod and reel i rigged it up for throwing poopers with a Halco Rooster Popper. Well lo and behold there we are taking pics of me and Anna with me just holding my 'prop' when a youngish looking lad with his missus just 50m away hooks onto a Salmon which is jumping all over the place and giving him the run around on his tiny herring rod and reel. He ended up landing it and it looked about 4-5kg!
So of course i then ask Anna if i can have a few actual casts with my 'prop' to which she just rolled her eyes, laughed and told me to go ahead. So there i am on Bunker Bay Beach, in a suit, with my Bride next to me in her wedding dress, belting a popper out after a Salmon! hahahahaha.
The photographer actually loved it and took a heap of photos of the scene! Ended up with no Salmon for me though, shame would have been funny to get a Salmon on my wedding day hahaha. But just as we were leaving after the wedding photo session, the young lad who caught the previous Salmon had his missus onto one which they landed also. Was a bit smaller only looking about 3kgish. But WOW, Salmon caught right in front of me while taking my Wedding pics on my Wedding Day. Pure awesome hahahahahaha.
All in all a great day, not one single glitch or any hicups, Got very merry, Got to hang out with family and best friends some of who i hadnt see in 8 years, and now have a beautiful wife!
Thanks again everyone for the kindness you have shown me and Anna for our wedding but also over the last few years with our posts about our fishing adventures here on Fwrecked. We are both looking forward to having more adventures and getting more stories together in the future, that we will continue to share with others.
