Just my opinion but I think its very unwise to leave your charger plugged in right up until you hook up the trailer and head to the ramp. If you have a dud cell after 3 months sitting, when will be the next time you find out it wont start?
At the ramp if your lucky, or after your first long drift according to Murphys Law. At least switch it off the day before so you can see if it holds a charge ok. Having said that, Ctek are the best chargers, I have a couple. Just be careful, they have a long warranty but there are 2 importers, and some retailers come and go. As I found out. The importers would not check the serial number, Ctek were happy to replace but only via importer, and they didnt want to know without receipt. Similar happened with a Tekonsha brake controller with "lifetime warranty". Here they said "oh thats only US".
Contacted US and they read the riot act to him and got a new one straight away.

It’s a charger that plugs in
It’s a charger that plugs in permanently keeping batteries in optimum condition. Cycles through without over charging and boiling batteries.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
