Jetty
Night time is best for mulloway. They have been getting a few queenies, trevally and school macks during the day lately, haven't heard how its fishing at night because have been too busy.

Night time and/ or
Night time and/ or preferably in the run up to the top of the tide. Best place is right out the end, on the southwest corner as there's a decent gutter there that they often line in up, especially on a northern current as the jetty gives them some protection from the current and they ambush bait as it flows past.
End of the jettys still closed and probably will be for a long time yet as it looks like they've chosen to spend the $ on a flash new cafe at the base. However, there are a couple of amateur "bridges" built around the gate locking it off if you choose to become illiterate for the evening and ignore the warning/ no entry signs etc that are plastered everywhere.
Not that I would recommend that sort of thing

Take some bait flasher jigs
Take some bait flasher jigs and a light outfit
jig yourself a bucket full of livies before night fall and throw out a live bait 300mm below a light running sinker...
essiest place I,ve ever been to catch a mulla.
Don't be affraid to use heavy lines with drag tightened up so as not to compete with sharks and/or so you don't get busted off on the piles...
remember a cliff gaff or long pole gaff.
missus out fishes me every time!!!!!!
