Have never fished them but would expect them to fish like the ones here in Hedland, trevally and queenfish on jigs and plastics, jigged on the bottom for a bit then worked to the surface

Samson markers

I have fished the channel markers at Cape Lambert a few times. Can be great fishing! If you can tie your boat off on the ladder of the marker. Always have a floating mulie out the back because you are a good chance of hooking a mackie. Sound around the markers until you see a bit of broken ground or fish arches on the bottom. Use a paternosta rig on the bottom. I have caught big trevs, saddle tail, trout, reds (only small ones) and cod.

Goodluck!

Agree completely. The markers

Agree completely. The markers are great, the closer you can get the better, just be careful, I knew of a guy maybe 10 years back to had his wife up the front trying to tie off to the ladder, and the swell pushed him onto the marker, putting a great big hole in the front of his glass boat. Pretty nervous trip home, that one would have been.

I found that the sharks tend to come in fairly quick once you're on to the fish, so if they show up, just pull the rope and move to a different marker.
