G'day people, what's a good car alarm these days and what can I expect to pay for a good one fitted?

Wow, no replies. I'm contemplating putting in an order for an XR8 when they get released later this year and I want be be doubly sure it will be secure. I'm thinking something secondary after the immobiliser that you can have installed so even if the thieves get your keys, there's still something preventing the car from being nicked.

good car alarms these days? a couple of rottwiellers i reckon. but to be honest, who pays attention to them these days, i know i don't as they go off all the time for no reason....
