Trailer rebuild so far ( updated)completed

 The old trailer was starting to look a little worse for wear so thought i might just knock a new one up 

here is a few pics so far ,only taken about 7 hours so far and $600 in materials ,just have to finish hot galving to welds and seal the ends of the main beams then swap over the a frame and suspesion from the old trailer

just took the boat off the old trailer today bit scary

 built it from dura gal and have this stuff at work thats like solder but has a high zinc conntent that you just apply to the welds after welding with a bit of heat and a wire brush ,I am sealing all the main beams and putting some inox inside afterwards through some bungs ,Bit off a different way of doing it but we will see how long it lasts

Had been wondering what the upside down T was for but can see now

Hard to see from the pics, but you may need to be careful of the distance from the tail lights/plates to outboards.

Cant remember what the max is supposed to be but a heap of people got pinged a year back on Indian Ocean drive for not using a flag on the overhanging outboard.

When those guys get a bee in their bonnet it can screw up everyones fun!

The t at the back is the short ass step

 Will have to check on those distances but I think I read somewhere that it 2.5 m from the axle or 1.5 m from the rear of the trailer
