Car will not switch over to gas

Rns fine on petrol but will not cahnge over when I hit the switch. Any suggestions?

If the 2 solionds for turning on/off the fuel  and the one for opening the gas, are the same

( they were on my old cruiser) you can switch them over and then try the gas.

Mine was a very old and basic system but.

behind the switch to make sure a wire hasnt fallen off. I had this same problem a while ago.

check fuse aswell, got stuck

check fuse aswell, got stuck out in the bush once as my mates car only ran on gas and the fuse had a dodgy connection

I know the feeling mjohns I had the same thing happen to me on the Gibb River road, fuse decided to give out it took an hour to find that out.

also check the fuel pump

 also check the fuel pump aswel,could be frozen or seized

Pans out the blokes who serviced my vehicle did not connect a wire. Quick fix with not additional charge is always good.
