carbontex washers

Just been reading about carbontex drag washers, has anyone on here used them and whats your opinion???? thanks in advance

 Great upgrade well worth the money make sure you regresse them with Cals  drag grease wipe of excess and install . More drag and smoth aswell. Buy the premade one so that thickness is the same as original if it's thicker you will have eratic drag pressure

I have upgraded a lot of my reels, works great, As slayer said make sure the new stack height is the same as the old one

I put carbontex in my sustain 5000FG for a recent exy trip knowing that the drag could be getting hammered by a few tuna.

Caught some good size tuna and handled it all. No heat on the spool and more importantly no melted felt!

Thats where i reside, got a brand new little tub of it here , for ya , for free.

I used a tiny smere  a couple of times, so willing to pass it on.
