Awesome reel! As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. Shares some internal parts from saltiga minus a few bearings. Do yourself a favour and check out Alan Hawk's review, very thorough and informative. Looking at getting the 5000 myself as an allrounder for beach fishing and lure chucking.

I know that "El Dangero" had one that was purchased for a trip north that he was looking to sell off. I'll get him to contact you.

Cheers

 Kingfisha1,

I've got a 5000 and that's plenty for me , unless I need to go mega heavy. Got mine hooked up to a 8ft 6 Black Devil and it brings line in plenty quick enough without weighing a ton.  Certainly hurts a lot less than casting my mates 6500. 200 grams lighter doesn't sound much but it adds up after 2-300 casts.

They are a good reel- better than the old model for sure but 600++ for those ones in 6500 size, pretty big reel I would have thought?
