cheynes beach

Gday lads

ive been doing some searching and ive not seen much info on this place apart from during salmon season. i went this year and it was hectic!

after seeing the number of salmon im thinking thered still be a decent number of em there that have stayed plus ith the amount of bonito we caught im hoping theyd still be around. main target would be a sambo off the rocks after one of the lads i went with pulled in a +- 25kg one on a 65g raider in april.

im planning a trip there late seeptember and was wondering if anyone has been there at that time?! what should i expect to catch?

will mainly be lures but bait too

any info would be awesome

cheers

Hi mate,

I have the same intention too, going duing non-salmon season to have a go on lures only. Love the place and the terrain, so will be watching this space carefully.

Cheers
