Child sized PFD??
Submitted by Troy Summers on Sat, 2013-06-29 18:13
Hiya all, been looking around but havent really found anything online about kid sized pFDs, Whats the lightest weight range I can get, 15kgs keeps coming into my head but obviously I would like some confirmation before assuming..
Im of the mindset that everyone should be able to swim thats aboard regardless of pfd theyre wearing, but obviously Ive got a 1yo Id like to take in the boat with mum and rest of the kids for an ice cream run down mandurah way, or a family outing on the river..
Thanks in advance peepz

If you are talking 1yo get
If you are talking 1yo get the swimsuit with the buoyancy foam sewn in. Most are designed to keep the child face up if they fall in.

Theres a 6-10kg one,
Theres a 6-10kg one, whitworths can getum, but you wont get much use for the 70 bucks, my girl is not 1 yet and wears my boys old 10-15 kg challenger pfd1, hes 3 and wears a 15-24kg one now. Check gumtree for bargains or pay 70 bucks new. Dont put a kid in a pool floaty, pdf1 only
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
