THURSDAY:

Had a crack at the Whiting yesterday and they were there, not really hitting the lures though. I still got some but im pretty sure the over cast had something to with it as they have a definite preference for clear sky's

Here's the first fish on the Skinny Pop, went 32cm.

Got a heap of little guys as well but this one of the other better ones.

 

FRIDAY:

Decided to hit up the Bream today. Really messed it up today dropping so many fish, good size to with a few that felt real good!! Was using the new Ecogear CX35HS and a Cranka Vibe which got loads of hits, just couldn't sink the hooks properly. First few minutes and had my first little fish for the day-little rat that obliterated the CX35 on the slow-roll. 

Things were looking good with heaps of hits and prime Bream water and circumstances with a nice tide and overcast. I changed over to a Cranka Vibe with a solid hit in the pylons. I quickly pulled him out as he bolted for open water and then he dropped it. As time went on i would get run after run on good fish but couldn't sink a dam hook in 'em!! I was letting the fish have a good chew but still quick enough not for them to spit it out but they were still getting off. I eventually put another one on the board with a little Tarwhine that hit the Cranka on the drop.

I packed it in after this and headed home, wondering what the hell was happening?? For another day i thought, another day.
