How bigs the boat??
I am wondering why shark shields are needed. I know they do chew on props. I already have a GWSphobia after one chased me yrs ago windsurfing, and dont need any more "fear" added to the equation. Never been worried in a boat though.
Cheers

reason for trying shark sheild floating next to boat is to see if they do work ...the shark has been hitting pinks next to boat.just a test ,i do a heap off diving around 30 to 40meters (crays) ...trying to build trust in them (sheilds) ....safe as in boat ...9 times out off ten they have a look and do 1 or 2 laps and there gone,,great to watch ..i dont want to confront one in water ..like them young fellas a few months ago...

Thanks
And I will NEVER confront one in the water again. Wont tell my tale, but summary it scared the hell out of me. Felt like a lamb to the slaughter, and I dont like the feeling of being Prey. I consider myself on top of the foodchain, and being dropped one level and being chased by a killing machine with some poor other animals meat hanging off its top jaw has done in my nerves.
From a boat I am still OK and not worried, but if I saw one I would get the heeby geebies again for sure.

it was a horse of a fish....pity it was too heavy to hold properly for a good photo. Reckon it went an easy 30kg+...biggest sambo i've ever seen anyhow.
