And so when they are anchored up 5 metres from our boat and they see us catching and wonder why they're not getting a bite it's not because we have a shit hot boat...
NO.... It's because we are seasoned locals who know how the fish move around the area and what they're feeding on at the time..... SIMPLY BETTER FISHERMEN... ( OR CONSITANTLY LUCKY )
And having such a nice boat and named what it was it ALLWAYS attracted attention... ALLWAYS seached by fisheries and YES we allways fish within the rules cos that BIG BLACK BOAT was worth more than a few fillets.....
And if we are now known as they guys from the "notorious rape and pillage machine" so be it . . . . .

I would suggest I am, but I never brag about it and killing fish just shows that perceived lack of education. I dont mind the spelling, because we are all "educated" in our own way but thats just poor form.
As for Tim-O you havent been on here long, and apart from his "Poor" form with football teams

I will be hitting the snapper hard, within the law and limits as I have done for the past 30 years, so that my family and I can have fresh fish.
Sounds to me that Noddy and the Black Pearl got Pinged each time they went out ( Know they did, seen it happen enough times ).
We ended up with 20 odd boats around us yesterday, dropping anchors over ours.... its crap, will be casting a 6 ounce at boats soon.
Should be a law, no anchoring within 50m of another boat IMO

I realy dont mind it when another boat drops anchor and fishes 40-50m away, I cast about 20-30m from my boat, slow sink so we should be right. Its when other boats think that they need to drop their baits under your boat to get a pink that I get the sh1ts.
1 Of my mates gets followed every time he goes out.... just wrong, but what can you do?

Yep, people like this noddy guy just sum up all thats wrong with some boaties/fishers. I simply enjoy taking the family out for a pleasant day on the water, enjoy fishing and cruising around looking for a feed and come across a few others with a totally crap attitude.
Taking something that is totally enjoyable and turns the whole situation into a confrontation. Fark, everyone seems to want to own the boat ramp, the fish, the harbour the fishing spots, the point on the compass as you head out of port.
I have picked up some good tips from reading this forum and the best information comes from the guys that come across in a sensible and helpful light, whilst off course not babysitting new boaties...
Noddy, its kinda funny that you get some people worked up, but anyway i look forward to your Pm with all your GPS cords :p

Makes a bit more sense now, but why bring it up and in a way to get up peoples noses, including mine that had no idea of the past issue. The owner of the boat allfishedout handled the issue well and it seemed to have been resolved. I can understand the frustration with being successful fishos after years of learnin and havin the 90% think they can reap the benefits. I suppose stickin it to the followers tellin them ur still killin it in a tinny is satisfying, but on this thread youve just lured forum members to get a hate on for you, but maybe stuck it to the ones that mattered, the ones that havent posted. It seems to be a major issue that no authorities are willing to take responsibility on monitoring, bit like surfers fightin for a wave, too many people doin the same thing in the same place, thats why I look to reside in a lesser populated place to minimise the negative impact of other inconpetent fuckwits. Theres no way decency and respect to other fishos can be relyed upon, thats society, no one gives a shit, all for themselves but man you could handle it better.
