Hi guys!
Heading up to exmouth in a week or two and towing the boat which is a stacer 539 sea runner. Missus wants to stay at karrijini on the way back. Any one had experience with the road in? Some ites say its all sealed now. Also obviously will be leaving the boat at the site etc for day trips, anyone done this before? Any issues with security etc?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Will be devo if cant bring he boat just because of a few nights on the way back!

karrijini
Hi Sea Goat,
the road is sealed most of the way, but there is a bit of driving on a main dirt road that does get very corragated at times. the road is good enough at all times for a 2wd though so it shouldnt cause you a drama, just take it slow.
there is a cafe/resturaunt there that has a reasonble sized car park to leave the boat for the day, it is usually staffed whether it be a ranger or cafe staff, so it should be pretty safe there if you tell them.
might be worth while calling ahead? the staff there seem really friendly and helpful so it shouldnt be a problem.
hope that helped a little

Have house/yard in tom price
Have house/yard in tom price you can leave the boat. Crime here is more or less non existent
When you come from exmouth go through paraburdoo as there is a dirt track if you go the way Google maps says (via nameless Valley drive).
Karijini roads are usually pretty bad. Would not recommend 2wd. You can pretty much do the whole lot in a day or 2 depending on fitness and what you want to see. For me once you see a few gorges they are more or less the same
