control box beeping

hi guys my father in law and i were working on the boat today we have changed the impeller the gear box oil and done new batterys etc etc bla bla and all that jazz, what i would like to know is has anyone ever had a problem with the control box continuously beeping at us, has anyone ever had this problem and worked out what the fix was. The boat is located in ellenbrook and the area has low water pressure but could be wrong, i have even tried to call Shane from hayway's but to no avail. any info will be very helpful, as we were planning on going out tomorrow

cheers guys

Possibly a service indicator alarm? Simply reset if it is

Low oil level, add some more and should stop beeping. My 90hp does the same thing.

But would guess a service indicator alarm aswell..try pulling and holding the kill switch for 3 seconds, might reset.

right well i have just got back hm to high wycombe with the boat started it up sorry neighbours lol we have way better water pressure here, so the beeping has stopped but the thermostats never opened and then she over heated....wtf we have just put in a new impella im now starting to think what fishy fingers just said the water tube might not be sitting right our oil level is full full we carry about 10l in a resovoir tank which leads to the motor, im thinking when we put g/box back on the water tube didnt sit right hopefully im wrong, so landbased tomorrow it is haha. well the boat will sit for a while longer now till this prob is sorted......Shane from hayways will be getting another call and see when he is free next. how does a 2 stroke carry oil apart from fuel oil mix oil, i might be a bit slow about it but apart from g/box oil we have load os oil there, so yeah thanks heaps fellas for the input we might hopefully still be able to get out before the ban and actually catch a fish even if it is a wrasse lol
