Wasn't a great deal of difference when we were there 1982 from memory......and that is where our old landrover died...dropped a piston, bent the con rod which in turn damaged the crank . Motor would hardly turn over even with the head off......a very memorable holiday. We were down from Port Hedland for a couple of weeks rnr..

I was out fishing with my old man the day the jetty got totalled by a big surge. Used to moor our boat just off the dropoff to the left of the jetty.
