If you have a 4wd , up the coast a bit you will find rock ledges to fish off. Cant remember the distance, maybe 5 to 10kms .... but if u find a likely looking spot, they will be there
The weedbeds south of five fingers reef usally hold some. But the big hauls come from a few secret spots further north. Just make sure you know the zones before exploring.
If you are lucky you may get some off the rocks down at the boat ramp, but not off the jettys. Not our favorite job washing squid ink off the jetty in the mornings.

shore or boat?
got a heap inside the lagoon last week drifting if you have access to boat no problem.
not sure about LB.

was 20 km north off cardabia station and certainly have all info on sanctuary zones.
was refering to lagoon as anywhere inside reef.
