Had to cancel our trip to Perth in April due to travel restrictions so got a credit for accommodation booked at International on the water at ascot. No worries we will give you a credit for it for 6 months, if you need to postpone after that its all good just let us know. Tried to book some accommodation using our credit and how unussual they went into recievership 4 days later so you lost your credit, but we now trade as the Swan Hotel ,we so sorry would you like to pay for a new booking.....HOW FUCKING CONVENIENT. Not fucking happy....

big business
big business`s have different rules to us small fella`s that let them do this sort of crap :-(
i have a rental place that has gone down hill badly and wanted to sell it and asked if the
loan interest was still tax deductible on the remainder of the loan once i`d sold the asset
and was told for an individual it`s not but if it was a company it is. it`s wrong how they
can do that sort of thing
still trying

depending on how you booked
depending on how you booked
you may be able to claw money back vie visa international , if you used a bank credit card etc , if you did not recieve the service you paid for and iff you notified them within 120 days i think of not getting what you paid for .bankruptcy , would negate the claim though ..
but vouchers and credits you have a chance to get $ back instead ..

Yep and in the small print is the refund you are entitled to. Cruise ships are worse.

Right on
I genuinly feel for a lot of businesses that have suffered real badly over the lock down, then you get some businesses that go all out to plunder the public with the attitude that "there it is take it or leave it", these businesses will not be forgotten or forgiven as far as I'm concerned.
I think the financial cost of the lock down is going to really put strain on all of us businesses or consumers alike and things are not going to return to pre covid times.
