CPU exceeded its limit
Hi Guys,
If you see this message when loading up fishwrecked.
CPU has exceeded its quota, or something along those lines. Don't be worried its not a significant fault with fishwrecked and the site will be back online within 5 to 10 minutes at a maximum. Generally its either the site or sites hosting being hit with spam attacks from the email/porn bots out there running scripts against the database. Since we have gone from automating the new user accounts to individual verficication, this has happened a lot less and will be a once in a blue moon occurance. It also happens every now and again when I perform a backup on fishwrecked data, but I generally do that when most people are offline.
I am also enquiring at the moment about getting fishwrecked moved to a higher speed cpu on our hosting server in the states. Hopefully this will improve our load times and make browsing that little more pleasant. :)
Cheers,
Adam

Culprit
Login attempt failed for mSlprUjMXCJ
Just found this mornings culprit. He tried logging on via a script a heap of times in a row this morning, all being denied of course. But the script just keeps running until it causes the cpu on the hosting server to overload, which shuts down based upon the fact it is a spam attack.
The email address is a bit of a give away....
