Crabbing at night.

Hey all.  Taking the boat out tomorrow night to go netting and just wondering if anyone has had success with drop nets for crabs at night. i have scooped at night but never nets. i have put reflective tape on the floats so they will be easy to find .

Cheers Russ

Yes I have caught feeds of crabs many a time by using drop nets at night in the estuary.

Big glow sticks are only $1.00 from the reject shop at Mandurah, you can't miss them at night.

Those were the days

How dose that song go again ooh yes I remember now, those were the days my friends we thought they would never end.
Then bang and everything changed didn't it.

Axey45 is quite right in his post, if there is something on in the water that hasn't been seen before by the boatie they will rush over to have a look throwing all caution to the wind, put red glow sticks on your floats.
