cracker weekend
Twas an awsome weekend for on the fishing front, got a few last pinkies for the year, and hit another dhu which im sure will be the last till the ban is lifted. Sunday morning was frustrating with two unstoppables lost and having to work for my two keepers, and today was fairly quite with only the one dhu for me, although the battle had was well worth the day on the water. Caught it on a 5" mcarthy paddle tail in gold fish, on a 6-10kg shimano duel runnin 15lb main and 30lb and a 2500 penn conqurer. The battle lasted 5minutes and he buried 5 times, each time i could feel the leader rubbing till i opened the bail to let him out then going hard on him till he did it again. All worth it when i peeped over the side and saw the big silver flanks and the black stripe coming up from the 10m i hooked him in. To say i was stoked is an understatement. The other boys rounded the day off with a few undersize and one just legal, with a few small bb.
Pinkies went 75 and 82, and the dhu went 82 and bang on 9kg.
