G'day guys,
Are the cranka crabs available in stores yet? I have not yet seen them around. Any info would be good as I am really keen to get one in front of a bream or two.

Crezz you have asked the million dollar question
You have asked the million dollar question, in fact I wonder if crank crabs are just a myth as it is now 12 months since they were supposed to be on the market this mob are full of reasons for the delay in getting them into production. We put a man on the moon quicker than developing a method to manufacture these things. To me it's a very sad storey. Were did the picture you posted come from it must be the only capture that a cranka crab has made as I don't believe there is more than a handful in existence.

as far as im aware stores
as far as im aware stores have finally been able to place orders. Final colour chart has been released. Word "was" end of last month in store but december sounds about right. Has been some great captures on the prototypes. I dont mind waiting for them, they do t want to release them till they got it spot on correct. I think they have gone through a couple of manufacturers to get it right.

Cranka Crab
Ryan (shop owner) spoke to Steve (Cranka Owner) just then and they will have the first production batch of CRANKA Crabs fully assembled and painted by the 12th of October. Steve will be overseas over seeing the final QA via a visit to the factory on the 13th.
The first batch wasnt up to scratch so Steve changed manufacturing and tooling etc and the final product is now ready to go (yes took a while). The first batch of Cranka Crabs will arrive in Australia end of this month, we have our order in the system and look forward to getting them on the shelf

Yep.. I wish they would hurry
Yep.. I wish they would hurry the $&%* up!!!!! Itching to get my hands on these...
Although these are only 18mm across the shell? Up north I would need these to be 50mm across!!! Maybe Xmas time..... (2034) they will finally release a larger one also!!
They would want to be pretty tough... Im planning on throwing these down to a few Baldies!!! Might be an expensive mistake!!
What is an estimate of the RRP for these lil tackers?
Save me 1 of every colour please!!!!!

Dooma
Yeah these have been very much anticipated and will be very popular once they hit the shelves.
This 18mm size is the first size to be released and in the future there is plans for a 30mm shell size which no doubt will keep all of those up north happy!
They are durable mate and well suited to the uses they are targeted to. The rough RRP on these is between $20-$21.95 (Dont hold us to it though).
Ill send you through a PM shortly Dooma to confirm what exactly you want/Need.
Cheers
