Foot pedal and tipper, based
Foot pedal and tipper, based on cost and a stable place to hold the pot when you rebait etc.
I must declare I haven't used an RL style but they look like it might have a pot swinging wildly when it's out of the water. Then you have to put it in the boat and manually lift it back onto the rail and push it over.

Consider removable capstain
I have all of mine removable and I would do it all again.
Means that I don't have the capstain on the boat for 11 months of the year. Just plugs into an anderson plug inside the transom.
Obviously the tipper is already removable.
Dror from CSD Designs made mine. First rate work at a fair price.

Dont use a capstan, they are
Dont use a capstan, they are a real pain. I replaced my capstan with a winch from Ken Gray. It is a minature version of a professional cray winch and works a treat. It mounts in the gunnel same as a capstan. I use a foot switch to operate it. Its the only way to go.
