Craypot out from Bunbury

There is a craypot about 14 miles out that has been there for a while. I was wondering if someone has lost it as it does not appear to have a long enough rope on it as the rope is pretty much vertical. If someone knows who has pot number ST098x could they ask them if it is lost and if so and they can provide the last number I will send the coordinates.
I was anchored not far from it yesterday and the missus dropped a good fish she was calling for a dhu so after a while I decided to put the dive gear on and go and finish the job with the gun. While I was getting ready my rod took off and we gor about a 10 kg dhu.

That saved you getting wet
Well done, although if you had gone in the water you could have had a look what was on the end of the rope/buoy.

Solved
I went to the fisheries and gave them the pot number and my phone number and got a call from a guy in busselton. He said they put 3 new pots out near cape natualiste and they all got knocked off. He said they had 30m ropes so that explains the vertical rope as it was in 27m of water.
Guess it must have been perth people
