Craypots at Rotto

Hi
Heading to Rotto for a few days and wondering where it would be best to drop a pot. Staying at Longreach. Just wondering if I still need to drop them in sand or rather very close to a bit of reef and what sort of depth

still plenty of whites about at the back of the bank - not sure about Rotto though. I'd probably be tempted to try a little closer to the reefs in 5-15m

Big females
dropped it (just have 1) next to a lump in about 20 metres. First pull 1 keeper and 1 big female in berry. 2nd pull 3 very big females in berry and 2 whites which were keepers. Will see what happens tomorrow and if more females will move in a bit. Cheers. Eric
