from memory they only have light duty rods (max PE3)
Another nice rod that is well priced in the Diawa range is the Demon Bloods. They look the goods and come in plenty of different sizes with plenty of power. I loved the look of them but they don't make a PE5 rod in the length I wanted.
Ended up going for a Shimano T Curve myself as they are well priced and good size for what i want.
Never had one but have checked them out numerous times in the shops. They cover all line classes and look really good. Good components and well made. In the reel side the Catalina is second only to the Saltiga and it's interesting how the Saltist name gets more use then Catalina.
I used to use a Catalina stick but have since upgraded to a Hiramasa, anybody that comes out on my boat now uses the old Catalina 56S-8/10 if they don't have any of their own gear. Apart from being slightly heavier than the Saltiga's, I am hard pushed to really split them. Very good rod for the price. Sure you won't be disappointed.
I can promise you that most of the time these rods are getting used for bottom bouncing, and there is nothing in them!! I'm sure Daiwa wouldn't like me saying that, but they both have a nice parabolic curve when loaded and both achieve the same result with the same amount of effort.

You'll do fine with one of these rods.
