Welcome to the site Leohan. What part of Malaysia are you from? Just out of interest.

I'm haven't tried out the 4500, I will see if Honsu or one of the other local gear experts has had any experience with them.

Cheers,
Adam

What do you plan to use the reel for and wat lb line will you be using?
I had one 18mths ago. Used it with 50lb line jigging for sambos. Lasted 2 fish. The problem is the bushing on the main gear and graphite rotor and bail arm. Bushing can easily be replaced with a bearing but for heavy work it ain't. If you are fishing less than 50lb its fine. 9kg max drag.....forget it....Reel cant handle. Our local version, Capricorn 4500J is better if you can get hold of one. Spare spool and bearings in all the right places.

Thanks for the reply Adam and Honsu. First of all I'm from Sarawak,Malaysia.

Secondly, I'm just using the reel for light jigging. The line I'm using is 30lbs and the drag I've set is just 4kg. So I think the reel will withstand that drag setting.
