Daiwa Gurus-any advice: larger capacity spool for old model certate 3012?

 hey all

Just wondering if anyone knows for certain if its possible to swap a 3012 (older model- not the black recent release) spool on a certate out for a larger capacity spool?

have googled it all but the information seems conflicting... can anyone confirm definately if there are options (Certate standard, SOM, other) for a deeper/ more capacity spool change out?

Even better, if it is possible and someone has one lying around, would be def keen to buy it

and yes, I should have purchased a larger capacity 3000, but I bought it off here for a very good price so thought it was well worth the compromise. If not, looks like im buying top shelf ultra thin braid for it from here on in and tyring to cram as much on as possible as an alternative

cheers in advance!

 Daiwa now do the custom

Daiwa now do the custom parts and they make a 3000 size spool. If you can find a shop that stocks them take it in and try it on. There fairly cheap compared to an original spool as well.

EDIT:

My mate just got back to me and said that they are the same body just diffrent depth spools.

cheers guys!

another (dumb) questions: drags. I would assume that if I use a reel four 3000 spool from a different reel, I would take on the approximate drag for that reel?
