Day out on the water

Hit the water just before 7 to have a leisurely cruise out to one of our spots 14 nm out with the conditions reasonable and to get even better as the day went on. There were a few birds working the water but as you get close the tuna would just dissapear but ended with a couple. Fish were few and far between but managed to get a few. 7 kg dhuie , 2.2 kg Bauldie a size blackass and a few others. All up it was a good day .

Bloody nice flounder Russ
Given I used to fish Mandurah a fair bit a spot only 14nm out is a real find, ( and perhaps explains your less than curtious drop ins) best ground we found was SW from the cut offshore from Oceanique .......again around 14 NM offshore, good rubble and hard coral ground, otherwise it was 25 NM out in an area we called the golden triangle, big big dhuies in numbers but hell of a long way out if the sea breeze blew up
