Deck wash cuts out

hey guys

as as the title says, my jabsco hotshot 6.0 has been playing up lately. It will run for couple of minutes and then cut out, I'll let it rest for a few minutes and then it will start again. Is there an internal overload on these motor/pumps?

Anyone had had a similar issue? I've tested the pressure switch and it tested fine.

Cheers justin

 If your mechanically minded

If your mechanically minded and know a bit about auto electrics most of the time there is a internal switch which is operated by the diaphram, like a small limit switch with a S/S arm. if you pull the front off the pump you will see the switch, go to a place like jaycar and the swithes are around $3. change it and away you go. I have never brought a new pump. The switch has always been the problem

I had similar with my Jabsco parmax

Check for a sticky brush or possibly worn out?

Not hard to either lightly sand or find a replacement carbon brush.
