So here we are people the “ Real Season “ is upon us .. and the pressure cooker has just been cranked up .
Looks as though at this point it’s going to be wet for the Weagles / Hawks game so the skills are going to be down .. in which case it going to be rough and tough hard ball gets . I fully expect the Hawks to step up their antisocial aspects of their game from the first bounce so the Weagles will need to be switched on from the get go and not take a step backwards ..
Dockers / Sydney game .. we’ve been waiting 6 months for this and it’s time to pull the aces out , so it’s all guns blazing from the onset .. we have a full strength backline and ours mids should dominate giving our forwards as many opportunities as poss ..
Both above games should be beauties , hoping both WA teams get the win and move straight to the PF preferably even right to the GF were we comprehensively smash the crap out of ya’s ..
For your reference here's the Finals Predictor in every scenario I put in . The Dockers seem to win

hopefully WCE get a crack at Jack Redden
although would appear the asking price might be too high in terms of a trade - read yesterday, there likely to ask for the Gov or Shuey. Bull was another named mentioned - could probably live with that. Would also like a crack at Jetta , would not be able to land both i wouldn't think. Either would be a huge plus.

After watching the Hawks win GF's, my second most favourite time of the season is the trade period. Funny actually watching what ridiculous rumours get thrown about been stated as fact and also seeing who goes where.

Shultz to freo for a couple of years until we pay hogan a squillion dollars for a 17 year contract. And if freo can get bennel for absolutely nothing i reckon they should. The club has a really good indigenous group of players like walters, pearce, johson, griffin and hill that could mentor him. If he fucks up, out the door sunshine!
And i wont be booing goodsie. The umpires maybe, but not goodes. Abuse him if he stages for a kick, yes. But not boo.

You guys have a really good group of non indigenous players as well that dont need mentoring, why take the 'risk'.
Ill be booing Goodes, because he is a dickhead, not because he is Italian. If anyone else carried on like that, he would get booed as well. Its just another example of the minority crying poor and having the majority labelled for it.
Anyway, go Eagles and I hope Freo get up as well. Both teams 2 wins away from a derby GF!

Because as a footballer he has plenty of talent. He is quick and we need more outside runners. He kicks goals and we need more goals.
He'll be back closer to his family. He'll be cheap. Give him one year contracts with get out clauses for the club if he fucks up. Re-assess at the end of each year. Not sure if youve noticed but ross and the leadership group dont fuck around. Dont meet team rules, back to peel. Dont meet expectations, back to peel (walters and silvia....). Change your attitude, get your opportunity and support (walters). Dont, get shown the door (sylvia)

Honestly, i think all three are worthy of nomination but theyre probably only allowed two. Imo sandi is a better "ruckman" than both of them, but they other two are more effective around the ground this year. But that poses the question, are they selected as champions of their trade? Or to put the most effective "team" together? I dont know.
Anyway. Sandi wont care. He will be focussed on team success.

... and it's come to this. Win tonight and we secure a home prelim, lose and we get a home semi final and home prelim. Not a bad scenario although I'd rather both Hawthorn and Sydney have to both travel twice and to get the week off to freshen up a few players.
I'ts been 20 years in the making but the thought of a Derby Final may well become a reality this year and WA will literally go into meltdown that week.
I'd love to be the bigger man and extend an olive branch and say good luck Freo but....
