I generally just start with a full tank, and fill up on the way back and split it between all on the boat. Most of the guys I take out then throw in a $10 or $20 to cover bait/diesel/ice service costs wear and tear etc. Pretty much always the same crew so they appreciate that I keep the boat pretty well looked after and try hard to make it a great day out. Even if it is $50 each it is still a lot cheaper than a charter and I make better coffee.
