Deep Drop Flashers

We've just got in some deep drop flasher lights! These are blue flashers that turn on once in contact with water. They were created to imitate the bio-luminescence given off by fish movement when in that deep dark water and attract predatory fish.

Are they reusable
Can they be used more than once, or when dried out can they be used again

Yep
The ones I have look the same and can be used over and over. Haven’t had one run out yet...normally lose the rig eventually.
Trick is to wash the salt off them at the end of the day. I have left the whole rig on the wet floor of the boat and I had one still flashing in the morning. Need to get the salt water off them to break the connection

From what we know and have
From what we know and have seen you should get atleast 100 hours or more out of each light. Washing them down and drying them after will help prevent the pins from corroding and once out of water they will stop flashing. The only time they will flash is when in water as the water acts as the contact between the two pins.

Cheaper then esca lights
Cheaper then esca lights Oceanside used to peddle at $20 a light
however I feel as though deep drop lights is something stores will be hard pressed to match prices out of China
$5 is closer to the mark then $20

they do work and have used them to,,, i know oceanside had the esca ones originaly but they ended up getting similar ones cheaper over seas than the local esca guy so they ended up being $5 buxs on the shelf,,a long way out and plenty of fuel used with deep drop so maximize your chances i say
