Deep Drop Pics

First crack at the Deep Drop out from Bunbury the other day (Yes it's a bloody long way!) With the forecast looking almost perfect I couldn't resist a day out in the deep. Unfortunately I came home with nothing in the way of any deep drop species but I'm hoping to get some thoughts on some sounder shots from the trip for next time. Im running my 295 TVG LF setting at 8 and depth set to 180. I'm not sure if this is the best for where I was fishing? Either way I learn't a few things and I'm keen to try this next time I get out

I'm Thinking the returns at the bottom of the drop off are too weak. Not dense enough.

In that depth you only need the tvg on 4 or 6 and set it to the depth you are in or slightly deeper.

Looks like your off to a good start finding ground though
