If your going to use it alot
If your going to use it alot Get a Mega twin mate! The tanacom's blow up all the time! Iv replaced the moter in one 4 times! Still never seen a mega twin let go and we give them a good work out! I got my last one from the boys at ocean side with a full spool of line for a good price.
The epocs are strong but a bit bulky an I don't like the push button start.
Any one free to help me pull my drum lines tomorrow?

get a Miya Epoch Command
get a Miya Epoch Command they last may not look fancy but they are strong
mines got 64kg of drag
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

Shimano
Check out the Shimano Dendou Maru Beastmaster 9000. They are a single speed 150m/min but have more grunt than the Mega twin. These Shimano reels are normally priced at about twice the price of the Tanacom Bull 1000 however I recently purchased one from the site sponsor Compleat Angler Nedlands for not much more than what you would pay for a Mega twin.

Daiwa Megatwin!
Yo Marco
Electric reels work hard out there in the Super Deep stuff especially when finding spots, doing recon or using the reel to fight the fish (not for me)!
The Daiwa Megatwin 2 speed motor is perfect for longevity!
I've sold different types but the Megatwin is the standout and after many many years of fishing out there ...... I wont change!
